Happy New Year everyone!
I must say I’m really looking forward to 2012!!! And it’s rocking and rolling all ready and it’s only just begun! So soon there will be coming up new before and after shots of my work. Exciting:) Planning of two interior evening classes to springtime and more…so stay tuned and see what’s coming and happening on the horizon…

Well this year has been a crazy year for me, with building up the courage to start my own business and all has gone way over my expectations to say it mild. With a lot of contact building and being at the Interiør&Bolig Trade Fair has opened a lot of new doors for me. And it’s been tough to start a new business not knowing anyone and a lot of courage!
And I would like to say a big and huge thank you to everyone who has read and followed the blog this year. Without any big competitions to grab followers and without any advertising or links to the other big network of blogs out there I feel I’ve done well. Thank you guys very much.
I’ll be taking a wee break from blogging and will be back on the 3rd January. So I wish you hugs and kisses for the Christmas holiday and have a fantastic Happy New Year!

Good ideas for the weekend. This is very cool and I just know that there are many people out there that have some old unused lampshades hanging around in the loft. Get them out and make your own very own creation:)))

….haven’t had many dark and moody pictures for a while now. I love the dark green walls with yellow and mustard as contrasting colours in this picture below. The glossy picture on the matt wall highlights the picture perfectly with the rest of the room. It’s a very balanced interior which brings the picture and the furnishings together. Very cool!

I love rugs! And rugs will lift and rescue any room in the house from a boring dull interior. The key is adding an unexpected texture to the room. And why not add a rug whether it is a floral, or floss, geometric or of a different texture. Let it be wild, pump it up! Try it?…

With all the hustle and bustle and commotion and stress connected to Christmas I have made a decision to go ‘Christmas Free’ from all festive pictures. Now you might say BORING with a yawn but honestly the only reason I don’t like Christmas is because of all the stress that it involves. So I say ‘CHILL OUT’ people, take it easy, enjoy every day as it is. Love and re-use. Love what you have and NOT what you don’t have! And today I’m loving this eclectic mix picture…so enjoy:)

I have never experinced a piece of lighting that has totally drawn me into a room like these fantastic lighting pieces from Janne Kyttänen for Okko. I’m thinking please, pretty please let me have one of these lamps below..I promise I’ll be a good girl:) The only place to find these beautiful pieces in Bergen is Ebinteriør, so take contact if your interested!
